Allotted Privacy Policy

Allotted is local-first. Core budgeting works without a bank connection or account. Data leaves your device only when you choose account, Cloud Sync, Household Sharing, support, or App Store purchase features.

Information handled by Allotted

The app may handle income, savings goals, budget categories, bills, debts, planned amounts, transactions, notes, payday settings, reminder preferences, and subscription-planning information that you enter.

Local-only use

When Cloud Sync and Household Sharing are off, budget data is stored on your device. Allotted does not connect to your bank, import bank transactions, use advertising SDKs, or use cross-app tracking analytics.

Accounts and optional Cloud Sync

When you create an account, we process your email address, account identifier, authentication information managed by our cloud provider, and basic account timestamps. When you enable Cloud Sync or Household Sharing, the content you choose to sync is transmitted to and stored by Supabase.

Cloud data may include budgets, income, savings, bills, debts, transactions, notes, household membership, invite information, and sync metadata. This information is linked to your Allotted account and used to provide account, backup, synchronization, security, and household functionality.

App Store purchases

Apple processes subscription purchases and payment information. Allotted receives StoreKit entitlement information such as the product purchased and whether access is active. Allotted does not receive your full payment-card details.

Service providers

We do not sell personal information or use synced financial data for advertising or profiling.

Backups

You may create a private JSON backup and choose where to save it. Premium entitlement and account-session tokens are not included in backups.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains until you clear it or remove the app. Cloud data remains while your account is active or as needed to operate and secure the service. You can clear device data, disable Cloud Sync, leave a household, or permanently delete your account and associated cloud data from the Account screen.

Deleting your Allotted account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

Security

Allotted uses platform storage, authenticated connections, and database access controls intended to protect cloud data. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children's privacy

Allotted is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
